Our ultimate goal is to have a full fleet of Skoda Greenline Taxis operating within the Tyne Valley. Due to most of our work being carried out in a rural area 80% the journeys carried out involve the taxi sitting above 30mph. It therefore makes sense to choose a bio fuelled Skoda Greenline over the petrol fuelled Toyota Hybrid (only run on electric up to 30 mph).
Skoda Greenline:
• Designed specifically for the purpose of cutting carbon emissions the Skoda green line has been branded as ‘the cornerstones for a harmonious relationship between automobile and nature,’
• Skoda have significantly reduced the weight of the vehicle by fitting it out with ‘fuel saving’ tyres and optimising the best use of resources in its build.
• Co2 used by this vehicle has been slashed by 136g per KM

Although they ooze extravagance, the Mercedes Viano and S Class are over 75% recyclable and are considerably greener than any other vehicle in their ranking as they are far less damaging to the environment. Added to this, our Mercedes are run on Bio diesel and thus are the best on the market for helping our environment by lowering emissions. Meaning that, customers can experience luxury, at a lower cost to the planet.
