Walkers & Ramblers
Crowned ‘the best place for walking in the country’ by Country Walking Magazine, Northumberland offers its visitors and residents a walkers paradise.
Famed for its footpaths and bridleways, walkers and ramblers can explore the miles of open countryside and farmland of Northumberland and can even stop for refreshments along the way, with a range of local pubs en route. Some of the North East’s most treasured sites include the Northumberland National Park, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles, and Hadrian’s Wall. An EcoTravel minibus to Hadrian’s Wall will make your day truly enjoyable. So, if it’s a long distance trail along Hadrian‘s Wall, or a shorter walk through Northumberland’s coast and countryside that you fancy an EcoTravel minibus can get you there. In addition, EcoTravel offers to drop walkers off at any location and pick them up at their destination point. After a hard days walk, getting home to warm your feet in front of the fire is as comfortable as possible.
To help you on your way, EcoTravel can offer you excellent minibus transport. We currently have available the 8 seated minibus, a 16 seated minibus and the smaller MPV vehicles. The people carriers are ideal for smaller parties. Each vehicle has plenty of room for equipment as well as spacious accommodation for passengers.
