Located 7 miles west of Glasgow itself, Glasgow Airport is the second largest airport in Scotland handling over 7.5 million passengers a year. These numbers are forecast to increase threefold over the next 15 years and therefore there is huge investment planned in the coming years to help to handle these numbers. Glasgow services the western side of Scotland and North West England and so can provide easy access to the Lake District in Cumbria and the Highlands and islands of Western Scotland.

Its passenger numbers increased unexpectedly in 2010 when Icelandair was forced to move its operation to Glasgow following the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull.

Luckily the volcanic eruption did not affect the Ecocabs operation and we have provided ongoing transfers to and from Glasgow Airport for many years now. With transfers mainly from the Hexham and Newcastle areas we operate from many other towns in the North East of England including Morpeth and Durham.

With an extensive range of vehicles including 4 & 6 seater taxis, 8 seater people carriers and 16 & 22 seater minibuses and mini coaches we can cover all your individual transfer needs. Whether you are 2 people with a lot of luggage or a larger group with large amounts of luggage, we can even provide secure box trailers to accommodate all your travel needs.
