Originally opened in 1938 and called Ringway airport, Manchester airport has grown to become the third busiest airport in England for passenger numbers. It currently handles approximately 23 million passengers a year but already has capacity to handle up to 50 million through its 3 terminals.

It has recently completed new developments to allow the airport to accommodate the new A380 double-deck Airbus. With over 50 airlines flying in and out of Manchester Airport, access to any destination in the world is quick and easy.

With easy transport access to the North of England via, train and bus, Manchester Airport has become the central access for business and holiday travellers throughout the United Kingdom.
