We offer bike transport at Eco Cabs and these are our most requested cycle routes.

C2C

The Sea to Sea route, often referred to as C2C, is a popular cycle route. From Whitehaven to Tynemouth or Roker you will travel through the Lake District, Penrith, Stanhope, Allenheads and Newcastle.

Coast and Castles

The Coast and Castles has been described as one of the easiest rides but still one of the most scenic cycle journeys in the UK. Travelling South to North, Newcastle to Edinburgh, is the most popular choice where you will see Tynemouth Castle and Priory, Bamburgh Castle, Druridge Bay and more.

Hadrian’s Cycleway

Cycling from Grannventa Roman Bath House in Ravenglass to Arbeia Roman Fort and Museum at South Shields. Not only will you pass through the scenic Northumbrian countryside, but you’ll also pass places like Carlisle Castle, Lanacost Priory, parts of the Roman Wall, The Black Keep in Newcastle and more.

Reivers Route

Similar to the C2C this route goes from Tynemouth to either Whitehaven or Workington. On this cycle trail you’ll travel through the Northumbrian countryside and Kielder Forest. It can make a great alternative route if you plan to return by bike on the C2C.

Sandstone Way

This cycle route takes you from Berwick upon Tweed to Hexham. During this trail you’ll travel through Berwick, Wooler, Rothbury, Chollerford and Hexham. On this route you’ll also pass St Cuthberts Cave, Chillingham Castle and more.

JoGLE

Also, known as LEJoG if you’re travelling north, this is the route between John O’Groats in Scotland to Land’s End in the south of England. There’s plenty of scenic countryside on this cycle trip such as the highlands of Scotland or the Forest of Bowland.

We have vehicles available for 4, 8, 16 or 22 passengers at any one time and bike trailers which can carry 3, 8 or 20 bicycles. All of our drivers are trained in the handling of bike trailers.
